Mr. Damitz holds a master degree in Business Administration with majors in Corporate Planning and Human Resources. Years of experience in strategic corporate planning and senior management manifest a strong business background. Specializing in Canadian Immigration for more than 10 years, Mr. Damitz won a reputation as a competent Immigration counsel with outstanding expertise in economic categories. During this time he literally adjudicated thousands of Business & Skilled Worker immigration assessments. His assistance and advice is welcomed and asked even by other immigration practitioners.
He has been the author of numerous immigration articles, editor of Immigration newsletters, immigration columnist for several German-Canadian publications including the largest German print media outside of Germany, the "Deutsche Presse", and is frequently interviewed by the media on immigration subjects. He also provides consistently Immigration news and articles to the German-Canadian Society, German-Canadian Congress, Austrian Consulate General, German Embassy and German-Canadian Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Damitz is the past National President of AICC (Association of Immigration Counsel of Canada), past director of College of Immigration Practitioners, a founding president and current director of Canada\’s largest professional association for Immigration practitioner CAPIC (Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants), and a registered member of the regulatory body CSIC (Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants). He has now been holding for more than eight years executive positions with AICC and CAPIC on the National and provincial level. Further, he is an active member of the Advisory Committee for the Seneca College Immigration Practitioner Certificate Program, former member of the membership committee CSIC and has been participating as AICC/CAPIC representative in the CICIP (Citizenship and Immigration-Immigration Practitioner) operational policy working group meetings with the Canadian Government in Ottawa for 6 years.
